Glass is never transparent. It stages the act of exposure, calling the eye in. [1]
Glass is also transparent,
It is the material that eliminates the existence of time.
Starting in October 2023, I observed the phenomena of shattered glass façade in every place where I temporarily stayed in Germany. Only when the texture of rifts crawling over the surface does the invisible become visible.
The emotions left visual traces.
I am intrigued by how daily visual phenomena influence our hearts and emotions. Therefore, in its first exhibition (I called it “part 1”), I brought all my embodied experiences related to glass and the idea
of transparency and time into one space through different mediums, trying to evoke viewers’ self- reflection through them as well.
